Biography
Singer, DJ, and producer, Duñe is a multifaceted artist continually refining his musical identity through each project he releases.
Initially embracing indie electro influences, Duñe quickly delved into soul and indie pop for his debut album Hundred Fifty Roses (2020), co-produced with Crayon. This album marked a pivotal moment in Duñe’s career as he not only co-produced every track but also took on vocal duties.
The project served as a platform for Duñe to establish his first significant collaborations with FKJ (as a producer), Ichon, Aurélie Saada, and Swing to name a few. In the subsequent years, Duñe’s collaborations have multiplied with noted names such as Angèle, Ehla, and Vendredi sur Mer.
Simultaneously, Duñe has gravitated towards a more personal sound for his own project, integrating hip hop and R&B influences, that we can recognize in Darius’ songs 'Feels Right' and 'Rise', and more recently, on Else’s latest EP on the track “Worth the Wait”.
Duñe's latest solo project, “Better Never Than Late”, is an EP influenced by North American pop, hip hop, and R&B. Supported by Sam Tiba and Twenty9, both French multi-certified record producers, Duñe has forged a distinct sonic identity not only as a producer but also as a singer. The release comes with an impactful artistic direction curated by Jason Yan Francis (known for his work with Major Lazer, Travis Scott, and others), who also produced the video for “Think About You”.
